Practice and professional experience

Tatjana gained her first working experience in companies Iskra Mikroelektronika and Izolirka Piroterm. From 1995 until the beginning of the year 2012 when she joined us, she was working as patent examiner at the Slovenian Intellectual property Office (SIPO). In 17 years of work she gained professional knowledge and experience in the field of intellectual property, mainly in the field of patent protection, both in terms of national protection as well as international protection. As a representative of the SIPO she actively participated in various international working groups of WIPO and EPO (IPC reform, PCT reform, EPOQUE use). Since 2008 she has also been in charge of counselling department of the SIPO for SME's regarding proper protection of their intellectual property. Tatjana's present field of work includes primarily advising clients regarding patent protection, client representation in patent and SPC granting procedures, preparing and filing patent and SPC applications and conducting patent searches.
