European Patent Office (EPO) and the European Commission invited inventors to apply for the European Inventor Award for 2014. The deadline for filing a nomination is September 30, 2013. For more detailed information on the respective award and the requirements please refer to the following link of the EPO: http://www.epo.org/learning-events/european-inventor/nominate.html. The candidates for the award may file their nomination directly by the EPO, or through the national IP office. In case a candidate wants to be nominated through Slovenian IP Office, he/she must apply at the Slovenian IP Office at the latest by September 20, 2013 via email: sipo@uil-sipo.si.
